About Humidity Controller Silica Gel

Humidity controller silica gel is a desiccant designed to absorb moisture specifically to control humidity levels in confined spaces. Made of extremely porous amorphous silicon dioxide, it absorbs and retains moisture from the air efficiently, preventing damage resulting from high humidity like mold, corrosion, mildew, and product degradation. In non-indicating (white) or indicating (orange or blue) versions, the silica gel can hold 3035% of its weight in water, based on the relative humidity in the surroundings. The beads are usually between 1 to 4 mm in diameter and are sealed in permeable sachets constructed from materials such as Tyvek, non-woven material, or paper. Used extensively in electronics, drugs, food packaging, textiles, and industrial machinery, humidity controller silica gel offers a safe, effective, and economical solution to long-term moisture protection.
