About Crystal Silica Gel

Crystal Silica Gel is an extremely porous, granular silicon dioxide (SiO) that is widely used as a desiccant for humidity control and prevention of moisture damage. Transparent or semi-transparent glass-like beads or crystals in appearance, it works on adsorbing water molecules on its surface instead of absorbing the same into its structure, thereby being an extremely efficient method of moisture control.

It is available in several forms, such as:

White (Non-indicating): Unpigmented silica gel.

Blue (Indicating): Contains cobalt(II) chloride and turns pink upon saturation.

Orange (Indicating, non-toxic): Features a safer color-changing indicator that changes from orange to green or colorless upon absorption of moisture.

Crystal silica gel finds applications in a large number of industries, such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and logistics, to add shelf life and ensure the quality of products. It can be reused once it is dried and can also be supplied in sachets, bulk packaging, or in containers for specific applications.
