About White Granules Silica Gel

White granules silica gel is a porous, non-indicating amorphous silicon dioxide-based desiccant. It is in the form of hard, white translucent granules and is utilized mainly for moisture adsorption and humidity management. The granules are spherical or irregular in shape with various size ranges like 1-3 mm, 2-4 mm, or 3-5 mm according to the application need.

It is odorless, non-toxic, chemically inert, and can be used directly in contact with most products. It possesses high internal surface area and pore structure which enables it to adsorb as much as 35% of its own weight of water from the environment. White silica gel does not color when saturated like indicating silica gels, which makes it appropriate for use in sealed systems where visual observation is not required.

Widely applied to pharmaceutical packaging, electronics, foodstuffs, leather items, and logistics, white granules silica gel acts to exclude spoilage, corrosion, mold, and humidity-induced degradation.
