WHAT IS CONTAINER DESICCANT?
container desiccant - also called a container desiccant strip - is a specially engineered 1kg hanging desiccant designed to protect your cargo inside shipping containers during ocean freight.

Aquablue's 1 kg container desiccant strip is built with 4 individual 250gm pouches joined horizontally giving maximum moisture absorption surface area across the full width of the strip. It continuously absorbs water vapour from the container's internal atmosphere throughout the entire voyage preventing container rain which causes mould, rust, corrosion, clumping, and spoilage.

Each 1kg container desiccant contains a scientifically formulated mixture of Calcium Chloride and Starch, packed in breathable nonwoven / Tyvek packaging that allows water vapour to pass through while trapping liquid water inside as gel eliminating any risk of dripping on your cargo.

SIZES:

• 1kg Container Desiccant Strip (250gm 4 pouches) with hook for easy hanging

• 500gm Moisture Bag (250gm 2 pouches) with hook

GRADES (Absorption Capacity):

• Grade 1 absorbs 300% of its own weight (recommended for long voyages 2050 days)
• Grade 2 absorbs 150% of its own weight (ideal for medium-distance routes)
• Grade 3 absorbs 100% of its own weight (suitable for short-distance or dry-climate routes)

HOW TO USE 1KG CONTAINER DESICCANT:

Using Aquablue's 1kg container desiccant is effortless no tools, no training required:

1. Hang 68 strips of 1kg container desiccant along both side walls at mid-height (1.21.5m from floor)
2. Simply use the built-in hook at the top of each 1kg desiccant strip hooks directly onto container wall

• Never place on floor always hang for maximum airflow and absorption
